The Attractive Gary Oldman

One more post before i take a (fake) sleep. Hahahaha.. This time is about Gary Oldman. He is just another brilliant actor i ever seen. 

Have you ever heard the name of Gary Oldman? How about Sid Vicious? Okay let's say that you are the younger generation. I think you must be familiar with James Gordon, the famous idealist cop in Batman. Or, maybe Sirius Black from Harry Potter. I guess you might say, "Yes i do know that name!"

Yes, Gary Oldman is the man behind those characters. I never realize how amazing Gary Oldman is until i watched Sid and Nancy. Although it is a classic and a kind of 'disaster' movie, i finally realize how amazing Gary Oldman is.   

I enjoy the classic movie on these lately months. Thank you for my hubby who let me watch a lotttt offf movies in my post surgery time. Hahaha.. Yes, most of the movies i watched is the classic one. One of the interesting classic is Sid and Nancy.

Sid and Nancy. I knew this movie from another my spectacular movies list, 500 days of Summer. This is some kind of biography of Sidney Vicious. Sid is the bassist of British punk group band, Sex Pistol. Handsome, talented, popular, and British. Sid is really attractive!

The story line of Sid and Nancy was totally telling about disaster of life. Drug, sex (of course), drug again, sex again, and ending with suicide. Sid played by Gary Oldman and Nancy play by Chloe Webb. This couple really had a messy life. They can't stop from drug addiction until one day Sid accidentally stabbed Nancy. Nancy died. Sid got shocked because he killed his true love.


Enough about Sid and Nancy. Check his another movies, Harry Potter. Gary Oldman played the role of Sirius Black. He is the godfather of the famous Harry Potter. I never like the movie version of Sirius Black because (in my opinion) he didn't match with Sirius Black description. He is too small. But one day, i watched Harry Potter : The Prisoner of Azkaban again. Then i realized Sirius is Sid Vicious. I mean, they have the same appearance and character. 

So i checked Wikipedia. Hahaha.. Obviously, Gary Oldman really like those kind of character. He loves controversy acting role. He just looks so 'normal' in Batman Movie. Hahahaha.. O, Gary O! You are old but you still rock, man!

My Numbers Flannel Book

Yey... i made it! Finally i made my first book. This is The Numbers Flannel Book. Just like the tittle, it made from flannel. Some people used to say "the felt book". I made it for Matthew and Sally. The wonderful children of Kak Ully and Mas Joko, my best friends in Pos Adisucipto. 

The book is about introducing numbers 1 to 10. I want to introduce the symbol and concept of numbers through this book. I used the eye-catching colors because kiddos always easy to get curious with those kind of things. Matthew and Sally can learn to increase their fine motor by touching the book's surface. Actually, introducing numbers 1 to 10 to the toddler like Matthew is a little bit too much. But i hope Sally, Matthew's big sister who turns to 5 years old in this 2014, can use the book too. 

Okay kiddos, i will give this book when i meet you today. Just enjoy the fun learning time!    

Preparation For Minggu Kelima

It is August 28, 2014. No.. It is August 29, 2014 and it is Friday. My Pra Remaja Class will have an amazing time on next Sunday. We will do a special service on our lovely church, GKI Gejayan Pos Jemaat Adisucipto. 

As usual, we committed to take some parts on The 5th Sunday Worship. This August 2014 will be our third project. Kak Myta and I decided to do the different composition with our first project. Kak Myta will be the Liturgy Leader. Daniel, Jovan, Vava, and Abel will be the musicians. They will accompanied by Zwingli and Elly. Mia, Laras, Tyas, Maria, Nando, and Indra 7 will placed as the singers. Indra 8 will take the multimedia role. The others will take some small roles. Me? I have no part. My duty is helping Kak Eling to make everything under control. Hehehe... 

Dag dig dug.. Actually, it's a little bit harder since now we have 23 children in Pra Remaja. Thank you God everything was still under control until this time. I made some corsages for them. Hope these corsages will help them to be more confident while doing their part. Hey you guys.. You are rocks! God bless you my dear.. ^-^

Owl City - In Christ Alone (I Stand)

Kagetbanget ternyata Owl City juga cover lagu ini. Secara lagu ini memiliki lirik
yang sangat kuat dan Owl City punya kekuatan di elektronik musiknya. Tapi sama
seperti Christina Aguilera di Say Something, Owl City (atau mungkin Adam Young) begitu menghormati lagu "In Christ Alone". Dia hanya menggunakan piano dan suaranya yang lembut sehingga gw bisa menyimak dengan jelas setiap kata dalam lagu. Hasilnya beeeehhhh… dapet banget deh
merindingnya! 

Nu Haircut

I just got a new haircut. You know what, it's because of those kiddos statement. Hahaha.. Some kiddos used to say, "Miss Evi rambutnya kok rambutnya berhamburan terus sih". Wuahahaha.. So, i decided to have a shorter haircut. And, this is it! ^-^ I took some selfie and decorated the pictures with the vintage style. Actually, it will look more better if i used my polka-dot bandanna. But whatever! It is me then.. Hohoho...
